SLIC offers health insurance to Cine Star artistes

The nations’ insurer, Sri Lanka Insurance (SLIC), entered into a strategic partnership with the Cine Star foundation to provide a comprehensive health insurance cover for the artists of the Cine Star foundation.
The main goal of this strategic partnership was to empower and assist the local artists while providing assurance on the requirement for health insurance. In the current environment, health insurance is essential for everyone, thus this unique health insurance will be a welcome perk for the artists. 

SLIC Chief Executive Officer Chandana L. Aluthgama addressing the media and guests said, “Arts and culture play a key part in any community and enriches a society by adding value to the said society. Our company has made a lot of efforts to encourage Sri Lanka’s arts and culture. We have honoured many artists throughout the years at various points in their careers in order to help them and enhance their lifestyles.”
