Sri Lanka and Denmark to avoid double taxation

With the expectation of improving economic relations between the two countries, Sri Lanka and Denmark have entered into an agreement at official level for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion pertaining to economic activities. 

Accordingly, the proposal made by Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera, to sign the agreement so entered into at Government level and present it in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
