In a landmark move for Sri Lanka’s cybersecurity landscape, SITREK Group and Singaporean technology leader ST Engineering have announced a strategic partnership aimed at bolstering national digital resilience.

The memorandum of collaboration was signed at SITREK Cyber & Tech Summit 2026 recently at City of Dreams Colombo, signalling a new chapter in the country’s enterprise-level cyber preparedness.

The collaboration comes at a time when cyber threats are reshaping both corporate strategy and national security.

By combining SITREK Group’s deep local expertise with ST Engineering’s globally recognised defence-grade cyber capabilities, the alliance seeks to deliver innovative, enterprise-ready solutions that address the evolving demands of the region.

Key areas of focus include knowledge exchange, technology integration and the deployment of advanced cybersecurity systems aligned with international standards. The partnership is also expected to drive skills development, strengthen institutional capacity and enhance Sri Lanka’s overall cyber posture.

The signing ceremony, attended by senior executives and industry stakeholders, underscored a shared vision: building trusted digital ecosystems and reinforcing the country’s cyber resilience. As digital transformation accelerates across industries, this collaboration positions Sri Lanka as an emerging hub for cybersecurity excellence in South Asia.

With cyber risk now a critical factor in boardroom decisions and economic stability, the SITREK–ST Engineering partnership represents a forward-looking commitment to safeguarding the nation’s digital infrastructure while fostering innovation and trust across the region.
