Forbes Marshall Lanka organised a seminar on ‘Forbes Marshall & The Intelligent Plant’ at Waters Edge, Battaramulla recently. The theme of the programme was how Forbes Marshall can help manufacturing plants to be more intelligent and productive by using its technology and services.
Forbes Marshall also introduced its new products to the Sri Lankan market namely Microcon Plus, Process Control System for power, water and all process plants.
Sunil Badami, a board member of Forbes Marshall and Director of International Business for the group, in his address highlighted the latest developments of Forbes Marshall including the world’s largest steam trap manufacturing facility and having Asia’s second largest Flowmeter calibration test rig.
He also emphasised on why plants should be intelligent now-a-days in terms of ensuring quality, improving productivity, reducing all utility costs, etc., and secondly how Forbes Marshall is equipped and can help companies to be more intelligent and productive using their products and solutions.
Sachin Mahajan, who heads steam system business for international markets, spoke about how Forbes Marshall applied intelligent approach and helped companies to save on their energy costs and enhanced their operational efficiency. He shared a few case studies of manufacturing plants from varied industries from different parts of the world.
Jayesh Suratwala, who is Divisional Head for the process control system ‘Microcon Plus’ introduced to the Sri Lankan market and emphasised on how this intelligent system empowers the daily needs of manufacturing plants with its inbuilt product technology aids like data analytics, intelligent energy management, augmented reality and so on, whether it is power, water or any other process plant.
The programme was well attended by more than 450+ eminent customers from various industry segments.
