FACETS Sri Lanka 2026 opens on January 3

Sri Lanka is set to welcome the global gem and jewellery fraternity on January 3, as FACETS Sri Lanka 2026, the country’s flagship gem and jewellery exhibition, opens its doors at The Forum, Cinnamon Life – City of Dreams, Colombo. 
Taking place from January 3 to 5, 2026, FACETS is recognised as the first major international jewellery exhibition of the year, positioning Sri Lanka at the forefront of the global gem and jewellery calendar.
Now in its 33rd year, FACETS Sri Lanka has grown into one of the region’s most respected and enduring gem and jewellery trade exhibitions. Organised by the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association (SLGJA), FACETS showcases the depth, diversity and strength of Sri Lanka’s gem and jewellery industry, bringing together miners, cutters, manufacturers, designers, traders and industry professionals from across the country on a single, trusted platform.
Speaking ahead of the opening, SLGJA President Akram Cassim stated, “As FACETS enters its 33rd year, it stands as a testament to the resilience, credibility and global relevance of Sri Lanka’s gem and jewellery industry. As the first international jewellery exhibition of the year, FACETS sets the tone for global trade in 2026 by presenting the very best of Sri Lanka to the world.
