CPC to hold refinery maintenance in November

REUTERS: Sri Lanka’s Ceylon Petroleum Corp will hold a partial maintenance at its sole 50,000 barrels-per-day oil refinery in November, two company sources said.

It will be changing a catalyst at the refinery, which will reduce production of gasoil and gasoline, one of them said. The maintenance will occur from Nov. 3 for about 20 days, the second source said. Ceypetco is seeking gasoil and gasoline supply in the spot market to fulfil domestic shortfall during the maintenance, said two traders that participate in the market.
