Abans PLC becomes exclusive distributor for Skechers in Sri Lanka

Abans PLC announced that it has been appointed as the exclusive authorized distributor for Skechers in Sri Lanka, one of the world’s leading footwear brands, effective from the 1st of August 2025.

This milestone is the result of a longstanding and successful partnership between Abans and Skechers, which began in 2016. 

Over the past nine years, Abans has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the Skechers brand locally, significantly increasing both the sales volume and brand popularity among Sri Lankan consumers. In recognition of this success and mutual understanding, Skechers has officially awarded Abans exclusive distribution rights in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, customers can now purchase authentic Skechers products from Skechers concept stores located at the Colombo City Centre, Racecourse Mall and at Shop-in-Shop locations within Abans Elite showrooms at Colombo 03, Kandy City Centre, Rajagiriya and the Havelock City Mall.

Customers are strongly advised to purchase Skechers only from these authorized locations to ensure authenticity and quality, to avoid being misled by unauthorized or counterfeit sellers.

Looking ahead, Abans is committed to expanding the brand’s presence across the country. As part of its future roadmap, two new Skechers concept stores are currently in the development pipeline, aimed at bringing the globally-renowned footwear experience even closer to Sri Lankan consumers.
