Unseated PC chairman shouts protest

Former chairman of Horowpothana Pradeshiya Sabha C.U. Wijeyaratne stands on a table shouting protest following his defeat in a vote to elect a new member to the post. The controls of the UNP –controlled local authorities of Horowpothana and Kahatagasdigiliya were grabbed by Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) in votes taken among members.
