Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) leader MP Rauff Hakeem and Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Jaffna district MP M.A. Sumanthiran asked Foreign Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris in Parliament whether the proposed amendments to the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) will be altered in accordance with concerns raised by European Union.
