Patients suffer as health workers go on strike

Patients were inconvenienced as a result of trade union action undertaken by hospital nurses and professionals of supplementary medicines.  Diagnostic activities were carried out, but drugs could not be issued because hospital pharmacists were on strike. Therefore, patients lined up in front of state run pharmaceutical outlets to obtain medicines according to prescriptions.
