Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said his party would support the members of the clergy in their call for the reduction of electricity tariff rates for the places of religious worship. Making his remarks in Parliament, he said Bhikkhus and other religious dignitaries met him and briefed him about hardships caused by the tariff hike.
