Fun time with sea waves on tsunami remembrance day

People shriek with joy as they wade into sea waves near the beaches of Galle Face, Wellawatte and Dehiwala. Ironically, today is the tsunami remembrance day. Seventeen years ago on a day like this, giant killer waves battered the coastal districts of Sri Lanka drowning 31,229 people.
