Wrong shot; Robber dies

The robber, who was alleged to have been shot by his colleague’s yesterday at Mattakkuliya, is reported to have died in hospital, police said.

Three men,who were attempting to rob a woman,were chased by a trishaw driver. He had managed to grab hold of one of the robbers and in the ensuing scuffle the robber was accidently shot by one of his colleagues when they fired at the trishaw driver.
