Two women in baby deal arrested

A woman was arrested yesterday on charges of having sold her six-month-old baby girl to another woman at Mihindu Uyana in Hanwella for Rs.30,000.

Police said the woman who bought the baby was also arrested and that they would be produced in the Mahara Magistrate’s Court today.

The Sapugaskanda Police are investigating. (LSP)
