Two claymore mines found in Malabe

Two old claymore mines were found this morning by the Navy while they were engaged in the construction of a land in Malabe. Navy civil engineers were engaged in the construction of a building when they found the two mines this morning which were hidden in a garbage pit.

The Ministry of Defence were informed by the navy personnel. The MOD had immediately dispatched a Bomb Disposal Unit of the Army to defuse the two old claymore mines (By Supun Dias)
