Trinco Crime OIC arrested for bribery

The Officer in Charge of the Crimes Division of the Trincomalee Police Station was arrested by the Bribery Commission for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000 in order to refrain from filing action in criminal case.

The OIC was arrested by officers of the Bribery Commission a short while ago.
