Three nabbed with Rs. 45 mn worth heroin

Three persons including a leading drug dealer had been arrested with 5.5 Kgs of heroin worth more than Rs. 45 million at Katana in Negombo by the police yesterday.

Police spokesmen ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said the suspect was arrested during a special raid carried out by the Police Narcotics Bureau in Ragama and Negombo.

He said the suspects would be questioned after obtaining a seven day detention order from courts.(DS)
