Ten persons including a man in robes were arrested inside the Uhana forest reserve in Ampara this morning while they were excavating an archeological site. He said that the men are residents of Ampara, Uhana, Suriyawewa and Udadeniya areas.
The van they came and equipment used were also seized by the Uhana police. The suspects were produced before the Ampara Magistrate a short while ago. (SD)
