Special traffic plan for Alles’ funeral

One lane on the roadleading from Gateway College at Sri Jayawardenapura to the Borella General Cemetery will be closed for vehicular traffic between 4.00 p.m. to 5.00p.m., to allow for the funeral of renowned educationist R.I.T. Alles, Police said.

They said at these time the vehicles would not be allowed topass through the NawalaJunction when travelling from Colombo to Battaramulla.

The Police urged motorists to follow the instructions of the Police because of the likelihood of heavy vehicular traffic while the procession wends its way to the Cemetery.
