Sisters killed as building collapses

Two sisters who were studying at their home were killed when a wall of a building that was under construction collapsed last evening.

The two victims aged 8 and 10 were residents of the Galbokka area in Dambagalla, police media spokesman Ajith Rohana said. (Supun Dias)
