Robber gang member shot dead in Battaramulla

One suspect was shot dead and another was taken into police custody when Police opened fire at a gang that had come to rob a bank in Battaramulla, early today police said. They said that the robber gang tried to hurl a hand grenade at the police, compelling police to open fire at the gang.
