Racing star Malagamuwa summoned by Court

The Colombo High Court Judge Kusala Sarojini today summoned racing star Dilantha Malagamuwa and two others to appear in Court on January 18 to answer charges filed against them on charges of having defrauded a Japanese national of US$6 hundred thousand.

The funds were alleged to have been handed over two the three Sri Lankans for the purpose of building a housing complex during February/March 2008.

Earlier the Attorney General had indicted the suspects on four counts of cheating Yoshuhi Nayashi.

The Case was postponed for January 18. (Shehan Chamika Silva)
