Minister Rauff Hakeem while roundly condemning the incidents in Dambulla said that it is the desire of his party to promote communal harmony and coexistence among all communities living in the country.

He said that he will discuss the issue with all community leaders and with the President who has returned to the country upon completion of an official visit to South Korea. The Minister made these remarks upon conclusion of a meeting with the SLMC hierarchy in Colombo today.
