Police spokesman playing politics: UNP

United National Party (UNP) in a statement said today that Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana was playing politics by making statements favorable to the ruling UPFA.

The statement said that police spokesman was playing politics by criticising the UNP for fielding Royce Fernando who was under arrest in connection with an alleged robbery in Negombo, as a candidate for the Western Provincial Council. (YP)
