1 dead, several injured in accident

One person died and at least 28 passengers were believed to have sustained injuries and were admitted to the Panadura hospital following an accident between two passenger buses at Moligoda, Waduwa a short while ago. According to the police one bus had overturned following the accident.

The accident occurred when one bus had attempted to overtake a three wheeler and collided with another bus. The driver of one bus was killed in the accident. (Kusal Chamath)
