Negligence or carelessness may land you in court

Police said today the law would be strictly enforced if a person’s death was caused by another’s negligence or carelessness. Senior DIG Gamini Navaratne has instructed every police station to enforce the law in instances where a case could be filed against the person who caused the death of someone by way of digging a pit or a trenchon the road or when dumping garbage or metal on the road.
