MR sends message to Kandy rally

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa sent a message to be read at the Kandy rally held today urging that Mr. Rajapaksa be fielded as the UPFA prime ministerial candidate.

Several UPFA political parties organized the rally, which was the second meeting held in favour of the candidacy of Mr. Rajapaksa.

Central Province Former Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, UPFA MP Dilan Amunugama, and several other people’s representatives took part in the rally.
