Mervyn not ready to give up Kelaniya

Public Relations Minister Mervyn Silva said if he was found guilty for any of wrong doings by his party or any Court, he would resign from the post of Kelaniya electorate organiser and give up politics forever.

“I am not ready to take over another electorate like some politicians who play the role of gypsies,” Minister Silva said addressing an event at the Vishnu Devalaya in Kelaniya on Saturday.

“Kelaniya is my heart and soul. I am not ready to handover such an adopted child,” he said.
