Update: Man shot in Ja-Ela dies

A man who was wounded in a shootout in Ja-ela and admitted to the Ragama Teaching Hospital this morning had succumbed to his injuries, the Police said.

The man was hospitalised after being shot by another unidentified man who arrived on a motorcycle at the Rukmani Devi Junction, Ja-Ela.
