Joint Opposition criticizes PM’s statement

The Joint Opposition today condemned the speech made by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in Parliament targeting the media and said both the Prime Minister and the Media Minister should humbly apologise to the media.

MP Dullas Alahapperuma said the Premier's speech would be considered as an official statement of the Sri Lankan Government by the international community and that it would be a disgrace to the country. (Lahiru Pothmulla)
