Interdicted for clashing with PSD

A sergeant and four constables of the Rangala police, who allegedly obstructed the duties of Presidential Security Division officers including an Army captain and ten others, and assaulted one of them, have been interdicted with immediate effect by the Senior DIG Central Division H.H.G.Ambanwala.

The DIG said he initiated a formal disciplinary inquiry against the police officers concerned. (J.A.L. Jayasinghe)
