Grenade blast in kilinochchi

Five children were injured when a hand grenade exploded at Selvanagar in Kilinochchi this morning, Police said.

Initial investigations revealed that the injured children were playing with the hand grenade at the time of the incident. The victims were admitted to the Kilinochchi hospital, police added.
