Video: Gnanasara Thera released on bail

Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera was released on a cash bail of Rs. 5,000 with a surety of Rs. 1 million by Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya when the Thera was produced in court.

He was arrested by the police this morning on an arrest warrant issued by the Magistrate’s Court. The warrant was issued on the Thera for failing to appear in Court in a case related to a protest held outside the Bribery Commission last month. (TFT)
