Furious husband does ‘Tyson’ act

A man who lost control when he witnessed his wife in an embrace with her lover in a bus at the Dambulla bus stand, had allegedly bitten off a piece of the paramour’s ear.

The woman was returning home from Colombo with her sister after attending a funeral.

The husband, who had got wind of his wife’s affair, had awaited her arrival at the Dambulla bus stand.

When the bus arrived he had hurriedly boarded the bus, at which point he witnessed his wife locked in an embrace with her paramour, provoking him to bite off his ear.

The injured man was admitted to hospital by the Dambulla police and the husband and wife were brought to the police station.

OIC IP N.J. Weerasinghe admonished the woman for her misbehavior, advised her to be faithful to her husband and lead a peaceful life with him.

The husband was due to be produced in court. He made a request to the police to hand his wife over to her relatives.
