Father and daughter murdered in M'gala

A father and daughter were murdered and the mother was critically injured after they were stabbed by a gang last night in the Kumukkana area in the Monaragala District. A person suspected to have been involved in the brutal murder has been arrested by the Police.

The Police are yet to confirm a reason or motive for the murders. The Monaragala Police are conducting further investigations into the incident. (Pix and Tex by Nayanajeewa Bandara)
