Dissa Bandara appointed acting DG

Dr.Harendra Dissa Bandara, a university academic has been appointed Acting Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with effect from April 2.

Dissa Bandara is the Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was released to the SEC to run its Financial Services Academy.

Meanwhile, along with this appointment, the SEC also announced the appointment of Deputy Secretary to the Treasury S.R Attygalle and Dean Faculty of Law, Kotelawela Defence University Prathiba Mahanama as two new Commission Members.
