Court allows foreign experts to examine CCTV footage

Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Pieris today (07) granted permission to the CID to refer the CCTV footage in connection with the rugby player Wasim Thajudeen’s death to foreign experts .

The Magistrate also ordered the CID to inform Court about the institutions the CID intended to seek advice within a week.

He also said further orders would follow after the necessary documents were submitted
