Arrested females remanded for prostitution

Two females who were arrested after the death of a Maldivian at a premier Hotel in Union place, Colombo, were produced before the Colombo magistrates court a short while ago on charges of prostitution.

The Police making submissions said that they have not established a link between the death of the Maldivian and the two females. The two were remanded till the 25th of June.( Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
