The Mount Lavinia additional Magistrate today issued an arrest warrant on former Deputy Minister Myon Mustapha, who is reportedly out of the country, for failing to appear in Court in a bribery case.

The attorney general had last month indicted Mustapha on charges of having offered Rs.4,200,000 to National Freedom Front member Mohamed Muzammil as a means of inducing him to support General Sarath Fonseka at the last Presidential elections. (AW)
