Yevan David makes history with Silverstone Sprint Race Podium

Colombo, July 4 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lankan racing driver Yevan David made history by securing a runner-up finish in the FIA Formula 3 Sprint Race at the British Grand Prix held at the iconic Silverstone Circuit.

Starting strongly, David maintained his position throughout the race with a composed drive from lights to flag, crossing the finish line in second place.

He was beaten only by American driver Ugo Ugochukwu, who claimed victory to become the first repeat winner of the 2026 FIA Formula 3 season.

David’s podium finish marks a significant milestone for Sri Lankan motorsport, highlighting his continued rise on the international racing stage.
