Wild elephant rampage leaves family injured in Dimbulagala

April 13 (Daily Mirror) -  Three members of a family were injured after a wild elephant wreaked havoc, attacking their house in Dimbulagala.

According to the Manampitiya Police, an eight-year-old daughter, four-year-old son and their twenty-six-year-old mother sustained injuries when the elephant toppled a wall of their residence. 

They were promptly rushed to the Manampitiya Hospital for medical attention.

Hospital sources revealed that the family members suffered head and body injuries from the impact of the collapsing brick walls.
