Weekend power cut schedule announced

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has granted permission for power shedding requested for the weekend by Ceylon Electricity Board.

Accordingly, three hour-power cut between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and 1 hour between 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm will be imposed for areas P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, while three hour-power cut between 8.30 am to 4.30 pm and 3 hours between 4.30 pm to 10.30 pm for E and F category.  
      
For Sunday (6), 2½ hour power cut from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm will come into effect ONLY for areas come under A, B and C category. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
