Veteran journalist D.B.S. Jeyaraj passes away at 72

Colombo, May 17 (Daily Mirror) - D.B.S. Jeyaraj, one of Sri Lanka’s most respected veteran journalists and political commentators, has passed away in Canada at the age of 72.

Jeyaraj was widely known for his in-depth reporting and analysis on Sri Lanka’s ethnic politics, conflict, and contemporary political developments over several decades. 

He was also a regular contributor to the Daily Mirror, where he frequently wrote political and historical feature articles.

Throughout his journalism career, Jeyaraj built a reputation for his extensive coverage of issues relating to ethnic relations, the civil conflict, and governance in Sri Lanka, becoming a prominent voice in political commentary and analysis.
