Udaya Gammanpila and Viyathmaga have failed - Dilan

While claiming that the main problem for the fuel shortage and prevailing crisis is the forex crisis, SLPP Parliamentarian Dilan Perera today said that as a Minister Udaya Gammanpila had failed and Viyathmaga also has failed.

MP Dilan Perera said that “there’s no point in giving different roadmaps to resolve the crisis but everyone should get together at this point.”

“But Udaya Gammanpila has failed as a minister because whatever questions we ask are being redirected to the public. He has been appointed a minister to request for the necessary finances and purchase fuel,” he said.

However MP Perera said that Ministers Wimal Weerawansa, Gammnapila, Vasudewa Nanayakkara don’t have any attempt to bring down the party. “The Opposition is not doing what they should be doing. They have gone to Geneva against a Supreme Court decision while a resolution on war crimes is being discussed in the next room,” he said

The two parties should get together and it should be headed by someone like D.E.W Gunasekara. If Viyathmaga has failed we should get capable people to resolve this crisis, he added.
