Two employees at Keells Union Place contract Covid-19; outlet closed

Keells Union Place outlet has been temporarily closed after two team members of the supermarket tested positive for COVID-19, the management said in a statement.

It said the two employees had tested positive during random PCR tests carried out last evening.

"Accordingly, all operations at Keells Union Place have been temporarily halted and the store closed for sanitization purposes and will reopen following the recommended sanitization procedures by the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry and approval by the PHIs," it added.
