Two abducted NPP councillors found

Colombo, June 27 (Daily Mirror)- The two National People's Power (NPP) members of the Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha, who were abducted this morning, were  abandoned in the Dewata area in Galle, the Southern Province DIG office said.

The male and female members had told the police that they were abducted by a group which arrived in a cab at Kananke, Nalawana while they were on their way to the council meeting in a three-wheeler.
