Traffic disrupted in Colombo 07

Colombo, May 03 - A significant section of Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha has been temporarily shut down to vehicular traffic owing to a protest staged by medical students.

The demonstration, orchestrated by medical students, is a stark objection against the proposed introduction of private medical colleges within the nation's borders. 

Further, protesters voiced strong opposition to the decision to establish a Faculty of Medicine at the National School of Business Management (NSBM).
