Sujeewa Senasinghe claims vehicle cleared by government analyst

The vehicle owned by Samagi Jana Sandanaya (SJS) National Organiser and national list nominee Sujeewa Senasinghe has been cleared by the government analyst as being genuine.

Senasinghe told Daily Mirror that the vehicle was handed over to the government analyst yesterday and later released.

"They wanted to subject my vehicle to a test by the government analyst as they were suspicious that it was illegally assembled. However my vehicle was returned to me after it was determined that the vehicle was genuine," he said.

Senasinghe's residence was also searched last week following reports that there was some clothes used by the LTTE.

He said he would file fundamental rights and a defamation cases against the search.
