South Asia’s fastest man Yupun receives USD 100,000

The Ministry of Sports and the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has handed over US$100,000 to Sri Lanka sprinter Yupun Abeykoon who is the fastest man in South Asia to develop his athletics.

Abeykoon has entered into an agreement with the Ministry and the SLC in this regard.

SLC's Secretary Mohan de Silva and Director General of Sports Amal Edirisooriya participated in the signing of the agreement.
