Several train services to be cancelled today

Several train services will be cancelled today due to a shortage of locomotive operators, with only 42 operators available, the Railways Department said.

According to the service working rounds, a total of 68 locomotive engineers are needed for smooth operations. However, only 42 operators are available.

Of these, 27 are on medical leave, and another 12 have requested not to be engaged with dual services.
As a result, nearly 25 train services will be unable to operate.
